Codfish croquette

Codfish croquettes, also known as “bolinhos de bacalhau,” are a traditional appetizer in Portuguese cuisine. They are made with salted codfish mixed with mashed potatoes, onions, parsley, and sometimes garlic. This mixture is then shaped into small cylinders or balls, coated in breadcrumbs, and deep-fried until golden and crispy.
